Some commands are used to affect the overall alignment of a paragraph. Note that they affect the whole of a paragraph, no matter /Uwhere/U they appear in that paragraph (even right at the end!)
This paragraph of text is left justified. We can specify this using the //AL command, however, since this is the default justification for a paragraph, it is not always necessary. Typically it is only used after another alignment command to return formatting to normal.
/ACThis paragraph of text is centered. We do this using the //AC command. Note that it is useful for important headings!! As we shall now show in an example:
/FL/UA Heading!/U/FB
/ARThis paragraph of text is right justified. We can specify this using the //AR command. It can be used to create the following effect (for example):
